DEFEATING THE FORCES AT THE GATE

“And for a spirit of judgment to him that sitteth in judgment and for strength to them that turn the battle to the gate” Isaiah 28 verse 16

A “gate” is “a barrier that controls an entrance or an exit” it could be an enclosure, a state, region, or level, which must be surmounted for a desired change to occur. There are physical gates that visible and there are spiritual gates that are invisible.
Every nation on earth has a spiritual gate. The same thing can be said of every city. Your own town or city where you live has a gate. This gate is what has been dictating the space of growth and development within the prime areas of your life.

We must overthrow and totally surmount it for our cities and for us to move forward .How are we going to do it? We shall do it by deploying the most potent spiritual weapon at the disposal of Christians .It is written in the bible “ for though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not canal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds”(II Cor.20.3-4).
There are many spiritual weapons at the disposal of but am going to the spotlight on two of them and the most important weapon available to the Christians is RIGHTEOUSNESS. Righteousness is a weapon and the most important one anybody can have. The bible says” open ye the gates that the righteous nation which keepeth the truth may enter in” Isa.26:2) The passage tells us that when the righteous approaches ,a call will be made from superior quarters to the gate keepers to open any gate through which he intends to pass .In order words ,righteousness can open a gate.

Our life style can either open a open a gate or close it. To this end, there must be righteousness in government, companies, among rulers, women, men, youth, Church leaders and the society at large. That is why the bible says “righteousness exalts a nation but sin is reproach to any people”(Prov.14:34)
Another weapon is prayer. The Bible states that “Hate the evil and love the good, and establish spiritual judgment in the gate”(Amos 5:15). How can judgment be established at the gate? It is by prayer .In Job 22:28, the Bible says “Thou shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee. And the light shall shine upon thy ways” Who rule by decrees? It is Kings that rules. And the Believers are Kings. The Bible confirms that in the book of revelation where it stated thus “ And hath made us kings and priest unto God and His father, to Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen” (Rev.1:6)

LIFE EXPERIENCE

Experience they say is the best teacher, in my sojourn on this planet I have come to realized that experience is an important part of life. It is required for leadership positions and the assigning of responsibility. Experience attracts handsome rewards in form of wages and remuneration. I owned a business which have been on for over ten years and my customers believes am not a novice in my chosen field, hence they and their relatives trust me to deliver the services am paid to deliver and effectively too.

You see in the things of God experience is not ruled out, that was why He stated the qualifications for being a church elder and a bishop, for instance a man that wants to occupy such post must have started his training at home if not, how can he rule the church of God?. Do you see God calling for experience? Please whatever you are going through today, know that it is not new under the sun, infact if you search carefully you have had this experience before and God has seen you through it. It is another time to win again, trust God. The hymn writer says count your blessings (remember past experiences of victories) and trust him once again. Do not believe what your subconscious tells you, believe the word of God, as experience is concerned God can make all things possible for you. Remember the life experience of listening to other people’s testimonies and what God has done concerning their situations. You will not lose but overcome in Jesus name

THE TOO MUCH GOD

There are lots of write ups from inspirational speakers and most of them draw inspirations from the Bible.

There is no motivational speaker that has ever written a book on motivation that did not have to say one thing or the other concerning God.
In my private my meditations, I had to acknowledge that God is more than enough for man. My saying God is too much is based on the premise of seeing God make somebody from nobody.

This does not only apply to me but to others who experienced countless miracles. These wonderful happenings confirmed to me that God is indeed too much.
No wonder the Holy writ states that we cannot achieve anything without depending on him.
